- Double Twist facing your partner: Keep your gaze soft, either towards your partner or over your shoulder, and focus on maintaining a gentle, steady breath. Feel the twist through your spine and the connection through your hands.”
- Half Butterfly: One leg is extended out to the side, while the other leg is bent with the foot resting against the inner thigh. Twist: From this position, both of you twist your torsos toward your extended legs, creating a gentle spinal rotation. Benefits : Twist, Spinal Mobility, Digestive Health, Improved Posture.
- Forward Bend: After the twist, both partners fold forward over their extended leg, reaching towards the foot or the floor, while still maintaining the connection with each other through holding hands. Benefits: Hamstring Stretch, Hips opening, Calmin effect
- Flowy Cat Cow: This sequence combines the classic Cat-Cow movement with hip circles and the Ganesha Grip, which involves interlacing your fingers behind your back. This flow is designed to mobilize the spine, open the shoulders, and create fluidity in the hips.
- Chest Opener: one person is in Child’s Pose, providing a stable base, while the other lies back over them in a supported chest opener. This pose enhances trust, connection, and provides a deep stretch for both partners. For Partner 1 (Child’s Pose): The added gentle pressure from the partner lying on top provides a calming, grounding effect, helping to release tension in the lower back and hips. For Partner 2 (Supported Chest Opener): This position offers a deep stretch for the chest, shoulders, and upper back. It helps counteract the effects of slouching and poor posture, promoting better spinal alignment and opening the heart center.
