A month ago you didn’t think you could take the time to stretch. Today, stopping what you’re doing and taking 5 minutes to stretch feels normal. You have reached a point where you listen to your body. Stretching becomes almost a necessity; you are able to detect your body’s language when it asks you to breathe.
So that you can get a clear idea of how far you’ve come with us, we’re sharing your small victories with you:
- Week 1: You’ve worked on your first static stretching exercises and you now know the difference between Habit & Routine
- Week 2 : You became aware of your little pains and the importance of working on your flexibility
- Week 3: You have taken your first steps with Restorative Yoga and meditation.
- Week 4: You got to know yourself better through each other and did your first Yoga Partner session.
We can’t say that you have been limping. You did quite well and congratulate yourself as soon as you take some time for yourself.
The results of this first challenge
Congratulations again on making these small, life-changing stretching habits part of your daily routine.
Last month was the most important month of this challenge and you followed it brilliantly. Little by little in the weeks to come, we will continue to mentor you with other stretching themes. Keep up the momentum because all your efforts and rigour will lead you in less than two months to the realization of our first mini yoga class. These two classes will take place on December 12th and 19th, two weeks before the Christmas and New Year holidays.
You can already note these dates in your diary. It may seem like a long time, but remember that it all starts with small exercises of only 5 minutes a day.
Even if you have not been rigorous every day of the week, do not be hard on yourself.
Remember that according to science:
It takes between 3 and 6 weeks for the body to adapt to a stimulus, depending on several factors of course, the most important being continuity. A little bit every day is worth a lot more than a one-hour session in a month.
The next part of the Acro-Wine challenge
For the coming month we propose to continue with your nice momentum with this time exercises on the theme of the arms.
The dynamic will be exactly the same as the one you just followed;
- Week 5: Static arms stretches
- Week 6: Dynamic arms stretches
- Week 7: Restorative Yoga
- Week 8: Partner Yoga
